Common questions

  • A fix I switched on isn't doing anything.

Most fixes need macOS's Accessibility permission. Open MrFixable's settings: if a permission is missing, the fix shows a warning with a button that takes you to the right place in System Settings.
  • I allowed the permission, but it still doesn't work.

In System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility, remove MrFixable with the − button, add it again, then quit and reopen MrFixable. This clears a permission macOS sometimes keeps from an older version.
  • Why does Control Center say "System Audio Recording"?

That's how macOS labels per-app volume control. It shows while an app you've turned up or down in App Volume is playing. Nothing is recorded or saved.
  • How do I activate my license?

Open MrFixable's settings, sign in with the email you bought with, and click Activate. A license works on one Mac at a time.
  • I got a new Mac. How do I move my license?

On your old Mac, open MrFixable's settings and click Deactivate, or do it from your account page on this website. Then sign in on the new Mac and click Activate.
  • How do I uninstall MrFixable?

Open MrFixable's settings, choose General and click Uninstall MrFixable. It switches off every fix, puts back the macOS settings they changed, removes everything it saved, frees your license for another Mac, and moves itself to the Trash.
